This new exhibition organized by the Museum of Corsica demonstrates how palazzi (or houses of Americans from Corsica) are particularly important in the history of the island from a sociological and artistic point of view. They are symbols of the economic success, spirit of adventure and culture of these intrepid, enriched Corsicans in the Americas.
These palazzi give the island a positive image. With citadels and towers of the coastline, Romanesque chapels and baroque churches, they are emblematic elements of island heritage.
